Mother's Love is the best


It is a god gift for us. You know most of human beings are surviving without mother’s love in entire worldwide. Mother’s love shapes cultures and individuals. While most mothers know that their love and emotional availability are vital to their children's well-being,  many of us do not understand the profound and long lasting impact we have in developing our young children's brains, teaching them first lessons of love, shaping their consciences .At a time when society urges women to seek their worth and personal fulfillment in things that take them away from their families and intimate bonds, Hunter invites women to come home to their children, their best selves, their hearts.
You and I need to be willing to look inside our own experiences to identify any places we may still be affected by our relationship with our own mother. We can begin that journey by simply being willing to search our heart and better understand ourselves. Professional counseling may also be a valuable part of that process. Laura Ingalls Wilder said, "What is there in the attitude of your children toward yourself that you wish were different"? Search your own heart and learn if your ways toward your own mother could be improved. “This is important whether your mother is still living or not”. I and You are deeply affected by our relationship with our mother and one of the most powerful gifts we can give to our children is our own emotional health.
A child should never feel as if they need to earn a mother's love. This will leave a void in their heart all of their life. A mother's love needs to be given unconditionally to establish trust and a firm foundation of emotional intimacy in a child's life. If love is withheld, a child will look for it in a million other ways, sometimes throughout their lifetime unless they come to some sort of peace with their past. The emotional foundation we give our children at home is foundation to their life. We cannot underestimate the value of home and the power of mother love. God asks us to be intentional about. We cannot underestimate the power of mother love, the value of home and the significance of our intentional presence in the home.


It is a scarcity , so we are lucky people who are getting mother’s affection and infinitive words for saying mother’s love which will be a nature gift as long as we die.

Mango's aspiration was emotion...

When I was in grade 10, I had some few of awesome friends with me. Next to our school there was a big house and it owned to an old uncle. There was a huge mango tree & it always had mangoes. But he never gave us the permission to pick mangoes, even he can't eat them all at once.
One of my friend said we will cut a joke to him because he do not give us mangoes. After school we went to his house. As soon as we rang the calling-bell, we have run away. Little while latter the man opened the door. There were no one in the front & he went back into the house. We did it again and we ran to our houses.

Next day also after school we did like that. we are hoped that we had been doing the same cruel activities next to 5 days, furthermore we were trying to do the same action 6th day also in the same time, but when we went to his house, one of the his guest were moving to his door steps.We were hidden ourselves near to the bush. Suddenly the door opened and a bucket of water was put in the guest's body, because owner were hiding corner of the inside of the door. The guest was got angry and he went away. We surprised and we also have run back to our houses.
The day after next we heart that guest was that uncle's best friend and he is the only one who look after him as a his own brother. We were disappointed and we decided to meet his friend and talk about this incident. 
We found his friend's home and he warmly welcomed us. We told him to the full incident. He is very interesting person who told us to come with me to see my friend. At the first sight we scared to go there, but he said that he will be able to manage his friend. We spent there more than one hour and next day we and his friend went to his home.
He said that as soon as we ring the bell, we will hide near to the bush. likewise we did. He came out and looked around then we all stand and went to his door step. It was a miracles he welcomed all of us warmly. He understood the incident and he began to laugh. Very firstly we saw his smile.

He told us to come often and take anything from here as your wish as mango with laughing again. He gave us mangoes. We thanked to him and came back. It is an unforgettable incident that ever happened to me in my lifetime before and after. Since then we were become as good friends. But unfortunately he died after few years. Still also I can remember his adorable smile.

The Art of Music



Music is a full of  my hobby. Even if i am in the lecturing sometimes makes me to feel boring, music will call me. Generally it will make you reduce annoying and irritating. When you listen to music, much more is happening in your body than simple auditory processing. Music triggers activity in the nucleus, a part of your brain that releases the feel good. Music may, in other words, tap into a brain mechanism that was the key to our evolutionary progress. The ability to recognize patterns and generalize from experience, to predict what’s likely to happen in the future in short, the ability to imagine is something humans do far better than any other animals. 
Many people instinctively don a headset linked to their favorite music when hitting the gym, which makes sense since certain types of music can motivate you to run faster, or keep going even though you're fatigued, giving you a better workout. Additionally, research has shown that listening to music while exercising boosted cognitive levels and verbal fluency skills in people diagnosed with coronary artery disease (coronary artery disease has been linked to a decline in cognitive abilities). Signs of improvement in verbal fluency areas more than doubled after listening to music compared to that of the non-music session.

Listening to music while exercising can also improve your performance, increasing your endurance by 15 percent, and your movement will likely follow the tempo of the song. For instance, in one study when the music's tempo slowed, the subjects' exertion level reduced as well. And when the tempo was increased, their performance followed suit. Your body may be simply responding to the beat on a more or less subconscious level, but the type and tempo of the music you choose while working out may also influence your conscious motivation.

When a song gets you energized and rearing to go, you'll know it, and these are the types of songs you probably naturally add to your workout playlist.  For that matter, when a song makes you feel relaxed, eases your anxiety or pain levels, or boosts your mood, you’ll know it too, as selecting music is a highly personal and highly intuitive process. In other words, only you know the “best” music for you, and that will inevitably change not only day to day with your mood but also over time with the different chapters of your life.

For now, technology has given us a simple way to harness the power of music by allowing you to create different playlists for exercising, relaxing, working and other important aspects of your day so you can instantly access the right music for your mood or activity. You can also listen to music over Internet radio using free services like Pandora, which will actually create stations for you based on your musical tastes.

Green Building


Green building are refers to both a structure and the using of processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building's life-cycle: from sitting to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition.

 According the above definition we can say these kinds of buildings are more eco friendly & sustainable or ‘high performance’ building than other buildings. Green building is a holistic concept that starts with the understanding that the built environment can have profound effects, both positive and negative, on the natural environment, as well as the people who inhabit buildings every day. Green building is an effort to amplify the positive and mitigate the negative of these effects throughout the entire life cycle of a building.

While there are many different definitions of green building out there, it is generally accepted as the planning, design, construction, and operations of buildings with several central, foremost considerations: energy use, water use, indoor environmental quality, material section and the building's effects on its site.
·         Material efficiency
Material should be use that can be recycled and can generate surplus amount of energy. An example of this is solar power panels not only they provide lightening but they are also a useful energy source
·         Waste & Reduction
It is probable to reuse resources. What may be waste to us may have another benefit to something else.
·         Structure efficiency
It is the concept of sustainable building and has largest impact on cost and performance. It aims to minimize the environment impact associated with all life cycles.

·         Energy efficiency

The layout of the construction can be strategized so that natural light pours for additional warmth
Shading the roof with trees offers an eco friendly alternative to air conditioning.

·         Water efficiency

To minimize water consumption one should aim to use the water which has been collected, used purified and reused.

Present we are facing lots of environmental issues under this situation green building concept will help us to heal the world make it a better place for me and for you and for the entire human being. As well as I think planners will be going up through green city and building concept soon. 




Mind Power makes successful attitude


The mind plays an important role in achieving every success and goal, minor, everyday goals, or major goals. With minor, day-to-day goals, you know what you want to achieve, but when it comes to major goals, it is different. You might have a vague idea, but this is not enough.

To accomplish anything, and to use your mind power, you have to know exactly what it is you want to do. In order to focus your mind on a goal, you need a clear and well defined your objective. First, you have to think and find out what is it that you really want to accomplish or gain. This might not be a simple step, and requires deep thinking, investigation and time. After discovering what you really want to accomplish, you need to come up with a plan for action. You need to know what you have to do first, and how to proceed. All of this requires planning, which means using the power of the mind.

After deciding on a goal and coming up with a plan, you need to hold in your mind a clear mental image of your goal. You need to see it accomplished. This step requires that you use your imagination, which is another power of the mind. Not everyone can visualize clear mental images, but regular training of the imagination can do wonders. You may, for example, look at photos of what you want to achieve, and then close your eyes, and try to see it in your imagination. This will enhance your visualization ability.

You need to be able to transmit your thoughts to other people, who would aid you with your plans. Often, you have to persuade others to invest in your plans or to help you in other ways. You need to be enthusiastic, persuasive, and believe what you are saying, otherwise they won't listen and won't care. To be able to do so, you need some degree of concentration, the ability to visualize, tact and patience, all being mental skills. Motivation is another mental and emotional power that you require for achieving success. 
How can you achieve anything if you are not motivated enough? To increase your motivation and enthusiasm, think often of your goal, about its advantages and benefits, and how it will change your life. Doing so, will strengthen your motivation.

Your thoughts, which are part of your mind, possess power. The thoughts that you most often think tend to come true. If you pour your mental energy into the same thoughts or mental images day after day, they will become stronger and stronger, and would consequently, affect your attitude, expectations, behavior and actions.These thoughts and mental images can even be subconsciously perceived by other people, who would then offer you help or opportunities.Your thoughts can also create what is usually termed as coincidence. They can attract into your life corresponding events, situations and opportunities. Not every thought turns into reality. A thought has to be repeated often, and to be saturated with desire, in order to come true. Doubts, fears, and worries, tend to destroy what you build with the power of your mind. This means that you need to clear your mind of negative thoughts and doubts. 

Effective Listening


"We were given two ears but only one mouth, because listening is twice as hard as talking."

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you are listening to your spouse or colleague relate something that is extremely important to them?
While they are speaking, something comes to mind and you cannot wait for them to finish so you can tell your story. This is the point where you can still hear them, but you are no longer listening.
If you’re like many people and have not completed significant training in active listening, then what you are doing much of the time is ‘hearing,’ not listening. Active listening is a very specific set of techniques that do not just happen automatically. You must learn, train and practice the techniques to achieve competency in active listening.
To listen actively is to first of all listen without deciding or judging about what you hear. Active listening is the process of temporarily setting your world aside and concentrating on the other person’s message and meaning. Evaluations, decisions and reactions can come late
There are three basic listening
1.  Competitive or Combative Listening :-Happens when we are more interested in promoting our own point of view than in understanding or exploring someone else’s view. We either listen for openings to take the floor, or for flaws or weak points we can attack. As we pretend to pay attention we are impatiently waiting for an opening, or internally formulating our rebuttal and planning our devastating comeback that will destroy their argument and make us the victor.

2.  In Passive or Attentive Listening :-
we are genuinely interested in hearing and understanding the other person’s point of view. We are attentive and passively listen. We assume that we heard and understand correctly. but stay passive and do not verify it.



3.  Active or Reflective Listening :-
It is the single most useful and important listening skill. In active listening we are also genuinely interested in understanding what the other person is thinking, feeling, wanting or what the message means, and we are active in checking out our understanding before we respond with our own new message. We restate or paraphrase our understanding of their message and reflect it back to the sender for verification. This verification or feedback process is what distinguishes active listening and makes it effective.

As a listener we attend to the level that we think is most important. Failing to recognize the level most relevant and important to the speaker can lead to a kind of crossed wires where the two people are not on the same wavelength. The purpose of the contact and the nature of our relationship with the person will usually determine what level or levels are appropriate and important for the particular interaction.

Disabled people are differently abled



Today, in addition to focusing on the problem of people who are differently abled,  researches are also concerning on the problem of people faced by disabled women, who are  perceived to be doubly disadvantages: first as women secondly as disabled.

In Sri Lanka, people tend to either ignore people with disabilities or to make a big fuss  about them, leading to immense embarrassment for sensitive people. We should aim to  make life for with disabilities. To be singled out in society for being disabled is a form of  discrimination which should be discouraged.

Another aspect of disabilities in the Sri Lankan context, is the plight of the disabled soldiers. They are war heroes at the one level, but in terms of daily life, our society is not geared to look after the disabled. For example public buildings in Sri Lanka rarely have wheelchair access, unlike in developed countries where facilities for disabled are legally enforced in public buildings. Just as assume that they know what women want, so the non-disabled assume that they know what disabled people want.


Worldwide, men and women with disabilities have relatively better life changes today than  a decade or more age. For one thing disabilities has come out into the open. Disable person  have fought the practice of incarceration in residential homes and hospital, a ‘treatment ’which was legitimate. There is sense among the abled-bodied that disabled people need their  protection. Concern with the welfare of disabled people is seen ‘charitable’. Yet these  breakthroughs can only be partially attributed to be a change of heart on the part of the  able-bodied decision makers at national and international level. Achievements and successes  in advocacy work on disability can be attributed in large measure to the efforts and perseverance of group of disabled people. 


However people’s attitudes towards the disabled have been slow in changing. Because of the general discrimination meted out towards the disabled, the message from non-disabled world, towards the disabled is that the lives of the disabled persons are not worth living. Both men and women with disabilities are made to feel ‘different’. They fail to confirm to a traditionally and socially agreed norm of beauty and strength. Pity condescension, embarrassment, or a mixture of the three are the reactions most commonly encountered by men and women who have a disability, from non-disabled people. Many activists believe that disabled people are in some senses considered by able-bodied people to be less than human.

Speech about Global Warming and Sollution

Today, I am here to discuss global warming…

The single greatest environmental challenge facing this planet. The earth is warming up faster than anyone expected. The first seven months of this year, and the last three decades, were the warmest since 1895. And the Earth’s temperature has climbed to the highest point it has been in the past 15,000 years. If we act now and further temperature increases are kept to 1 to 2 degrees Fahrenheit, the damages – though significant – will be manageable. But if we don’t act, and warming increases by 5 to 9 degrees, the damage will be catastrophic and irreversible. The Earth has warmed 1 degree in the past century, and we are now seeing the dramatic effects: Oceans are rising; coral reefs are dying; species are disappearing; glaciers are melting. Greenland is now losing 20% more mass than it receives from new snowfall each year. And it will shrink further as the planet warms. Heat waves, droughts, hurricanes and floods are occurring with greater frequency and greater intensity. In 2003, heat waves caused 20,000 deaths in Europe and the number of Category 4 and 5 hurricanes has doubled since the 1970’s. If nothing is done…if the Earth warms 5 to 9 degrees Fahrenheit, the face of our planet will change forever.

The Greenland and Western Antarctic ice sheets would melt completely. These two ice sheets currently hold 20 percent of the Earth’s fresh water. Sea levels could well rise by 20 feet. Think about the damage that would cause to coastal areas around the world. Additionally, hurricanes, tornadoes and other severe weather would become more volatile than ever. Catastrophic wildfires would more than double as temperatures spike to well above 100 degrees. The Earth may be much closer to a tipping point than science has shown thus far. And if we move beyond that tipping point, catastrophe becomes a certainty. You can’t go back, because the carbon dioxide doesn’t dissipate. It stays in the atmosphere for five decades or more. That means the carbon dioxide produced today will still be in the atmosphere in 2050 and beyond – causing the Earth’s temperature to rise. To stabilize the planet’s climate, we need a 70 percent reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.

That’s why we must act soon and decisively. We must act now. Our decision will impact not only our future, but the futures of our children and grandchildren. The question is: what should we do? The largest contributor to global warming is electricity generation which makes up 33 percent of the problem. Globally, coal produces 9.3 billion tons of carbon dioxide every year – or one-third of all global greenhouse gas emissions. So it’s critical that we find ways to clean up coal. The second largest contributor is transportation which represents 28 percent of carbon dioxide emissions.
Fundamentally, there are two ways to reduce these emissions.

1. Improve the fuel efficiency of vehicles.
2. Move away from oil and gasoline-based fuels and toward alternatives.

We also need to develop new, clean technologies and alternative fuels. This includes the electric plug-in hybrid, bio-fuels, E-85 using cellulose ethanol, and fuel cells. A 4 inch by 4 inch fuel cell can power a 30 watt light bulb for 5 years. Thus clean fuel cells can be used to produce electricity and hydrogen to fuel our vehicles with no carbon dioxide emissions. We also need to become much more energy efficient. We, as individuals can also make a difference. Inexpensive solar panels, carpooling, using energy efficient light bulbs and appliances, windmills that can be built in your backyard, and geothermal energy are other simple solutions. These are easy to do, and they can really make a major difference.

Now is the time to act. The choice is clear. It is time to stop talking and to begin acting.

Look Up


Technology; the whole world is going on it & without technology we can't imagine our future also.it has a lot of impact on our day today life. More of in the world population are connected their lives with the technology.

We have lots of friends from face book, twitter, Skype, whats up etc. We chat with some of them, we share some of posts, we poke to someone but none of them really know about us perfectly & our reality. If we think this is this our sociability but we dive into the technology devices while we are shutting our relationship with our surrounding environment. When we step away of this devices of evaluation we can see the world of confusion. We sharing photos ,videos and posts but we leave out the emotion. From the moment we wake up until night we are dealing with technology but not with our surroundings. we just stay in internet and we actually don't know what happen in even in our home.

we are addicted to the technology without a limitation. As an example if we think about our travelling in  public bus, we can see lots of them are sitting or standing with their mobile devices by using headsets. Even if a pregnant lady get on the bus, they don't care her because they busy with their own imagine world till the conductor say "please anyone who give a seat for her.

while we were as childhood we played lots of games such as paintings,  new creations from clay & etc but today most of children paying their attention to be alone also playing video games by means of smart devices. Because of those activities, children don not respect the society and not moving with friendly manner, further more they are fighting with siblings and insulting other friends.  In present lots of relationships are created by the technology but not with the proper understanding about each others.

Really most of people will be careless to know that "we have only nearly 25550 days to live as healthy and enjoy ourselves. There is a real world, we can be truly our selves & be with our family and vast community but we are just following  the way of foolish people and also caring next to us. 

Just stay on the way & think a little bit time who I am? /what I am doing? / what are the talents I have? / What is the reality in the small world going on? & etc. Do not waste all the time of your life for diving into the internet because time is running too fast. Let your soul to follow your heart and expose your love to attract your attention from each and every bodies, just look up outside from your  mobile devices and go ahead to the real world to look what's happening  so be yourself with self confident.

Little views about my Galle fort visit


At the first sight i have been freely to observe in Galle fort sites. We had visited there on 15th of October 2015 regarding our module of heritage planning & design. We observed lot of things for our studies as group vise but ramparts were picturesque to spend my feelings given period of time.

Especially Rampart near the light house

I was  here which is unforgettable scene for me. Mainly I heard wander sound entire that particular place due to the ocean and was enticed to see whole surrounded places by that rampart through wasting my given time. Beach was interesting to see by standing on the rampart wall which is very height especially its walls are about four centuries old, from when the Portuguese were here. It's all magnificent stone and grassy plain with an uninterrupted view of the sea, and it stretches all across the edge of the fort and the floor was greening meadow. People can chat, talk and freely can walk at that we can feel breezing. There are few steps to climb and reach the rampart floor and from out site when we look the rampart, we will be picturesque to spend our time for looking entire places. 



Here’s a roughly they guide the business people to sell those things with sitting on the rampart steps and wall when tourist and visitors are in the rampart but there were lot of people during that time with their pavement business here and there.

The snake guy was one of my favorite about the rampart - he walked around with a python around his neck and we can do the same if we pay him. We could find him and played his monkey and snake, and also there were few of the other snake guys around the fort and the rampart they charm cobras in baskets and are followed around by a trained monkey but I was not attracted by other guys.When I looked the light house from along the beginning of the rampart which seemed pretty cool structure and it is about 59 feet high, When I asked other people about it, they said that it has been since 1938 also we can watch it signaling ships in the distance if you hang out here in the late evenings.

So through spending my time I thoroughly enjoyed a lot with in my study area. We could see our memorials still by the ramparts which are represent our heritage feelings. Ramparts which are importantly reflect to picturesque for the local people and foreigners by not only the Galle fort but also Anuradhapura and Kotte as well.
